Hi, I’m Morgan! I’m passionate about creating a space where you can feel safe, supported, and accepted - just as you are. Therapy should be a place where you can make sense of your story, find your footing, and move toward the life you want.
I’m a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky, where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Social Work. I also hold certifications in Child Welfare and Substance Use Disorder, which continue to shape my approach to both individual and community-based support. My clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Psychoeducation, and DBT-informed techniques, always rooted in meeting each client where they are.
In addition to providing therapy, I’m passionate about education and mentorship. I teach psychoeducation classes, serve as a part-time instructor at the University of Kentucky College of Social Work, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students during their internships.
My philosophy is simple: I’m here to meet you where you are, support you, and help you work toward the changes you want to see in your life. In sessions, clients often describe me as validating yet direct, offering honest feedback in a way that feels supportive rather than judgmental. In our first session, I’ll walk you through the therapy process, focusing on understanding your needs, goals, and hopes for this journey. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, identity struggles, or substance use recovery, I’m here to help you build confidence, develop insight, and find healthy ways to thrive.
Outside of the therapy room, I spend my days with my partner, our children, and our dogs. We love to travel, explore the outdoors, and spend quality time with our families. I care deeply about showing up fully for my clients, which is why I prioritize my self-care and make space for what recharges me so that I can pour into others from a full cup.
One of my favorite quotes is:
“Taking care of your mental health is an act of self-love.”
