As You Are Therapy Group

We offer individual counseling, substance use disorder intensive outpatient programming (SUD IOP), and community support services through our CSA role. Individual counseling is focused on helping clients work through personal challenges and build effective coping strategies. Our SUD IOP provides structured group treatment for individuals working toward recovery while maintaining daily responsibilities. The CSA service offers hands-on, community-based support that helps clients apply what they are learning in therapy to real-life situations and strengthen progress toward their treatment goals.

We work with clients starting from the age of 6. Services are designed to meet individuals where they are developmentally and clinically, whether they are seeking support for mental health concerns, substance use, or both.

 Yes! Telehealth is available for individual therapy to make care more accessible.

We currently offer open availability and can typically schedule new clients within a short timeframe. Once intake paperwork is completed, we work to get you scheduled as soon as possible based on your availability and the type of service needed.

No referral is needed. You can reach out directly to schedule. 

Just bring yourself! We’ll send your paperwork through the Simple Practice portal ahead of time. 

Yes, you’re welcome to bring a support person or family member if it helps you feel more comfortable. 

Yes, we accept insurance. We are in-network with all Kentucky Medicaid and Medicare plans, with the exception of Passport, which we are not currently able to accept. We are also not in-network with Tricare. For commercial insurance plans, coverage varies by provider and plan, so we encourage clients to contact their insurance company directly to understand details such as deductibles, copays, and behavioral health benefits prior to their first appointment. Private pay options are also available for clients who are out-of-network or prefer to self-pay.

We offer private pay, sliding scale, and payment plan options to make services more affordable. 

Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $30 no-show fee. 

The first session is an intake appointment where we discuss your background, current concerns, and begin creating your treatment plan. 

Individual therapy sessions and CSA services are 60 minutes. IOP services are 3 hours per session.  

This is dependent on what’s best for you - weekly, biweekly, monthly, or as needed. 

All groups are limited to a maximum of 6 clients for a supportive and manageable experience.
